Section 17(2) in The Assam Accounts Service Rules, 1963
(2)A member of the service placed on probation under sub-rule (1) shall be confirmed against the permanent vacancy subject to the following conditions-(a)He has completed the period of probation to the satisfaction of the Appointing Authority in accordance with sub rule (1);(b)He has successfully under gone the training and passed the Departmental Examination, if any prescribed by Government.
