Section 11(1) in Khasi Hills Autonomous District (Appointment and Succession of Syiem, Deputy Syiem, Electors and Rangbah Shnong of Mylliem Syiemship) Act, 2007
(1)The Deputy Syiem shall hold office during his life time from the date of his appointment.
