Section 7(1) in The Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies permission for Erection of Digital Banners and Placards) Rules, 2011
(1)The District Collector may confiscate or summarily remove any digital banners or placards erected without permission, and recover the cost of removal from the person who has erected them.
