36. Local and public authorities to pay for supply of water. -
All street hydrants including fire hydrants, if any, within the jurisdiction of any local or public authority and all places of public resort under the control of such local or public authority shall be supplied with water, charges for which shall be payable by the local or public authority, as the case may be. Such charge shall be determined in the manner laid down in section 37.
