(24)Public Distribution System. - (a) Promotion of distribution of essential commodities through fair price shops in the villages. Panchayat will also keep sharp vigilance over fair and equitable distribution of essential commodities. Panchayat will educate the people about consumer's rights and assist in redressed of Consumer's grievances.
