Section 31 in The Collection of Statistics Act, 2008
31. Protection of action taken in good faith.–
No suit or other legal proceedings shall lie against the appropriate Government or agency or any statistics officer or other officers or employees in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or the rules or directions issued thereunder.
