Section 1 in The West Bengal Jute (Control of Prices) Act, 1950
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the West Bengal Jute (Control of Prices) Act, 1950.(2)It extends to the whole of West Bengal.(3)It shall come into force on the date on which the West Bengal Jute (Control of Prices) Ordinance, 1949, ceases to operate.
