Section 11(1) in The Punjab Municipal Primary Teachers (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
(1)Appointment to the Service, shall be made Municipality-wise from amongst the eligible candidates from the areas in the following order, namely :-(a)the Municipal are in which the school is situated;(b)within the Sub-Division; and(c)the District.
