Section 12(5) in National Security (Rajasthan Conditions of Detention) Order, 1984
(5)Detenus shall be allowed to read books from the Jail library. They shall be allowed to get books from outside at their own expense provided the books are of non-political character and approved by the Superintendent. Detenus may be permitted to buy such newspapers, periodicals and magazines as may be approved by the Government.
