Section 1 in The Bihar State Housing Board Act, 1982
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Bihar State Housing Board Act, 1982.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar:Provided that house-building activities of the Coal Mines Labour Housing Board under the Coal Mines Labour Welfare Funds Act, 1947 (Act 32 of 1947) and similar house-building activities of the Mica Mines and Iron Ore Mines Welfare Funds will remain outside the scope of the Housing Board.(3)It shall come into force at once.
