ORDER
1. This Tribunal took cognizance suo motu by treating and registering as Original Application newspaper report published in the Daily Newspaper "The telegraph" dated 16.07.2021 regarding encroachments on canal and also damage caused to the same.
2. The Original Application was disposed of by order dated 28.03.2023 with the directions as mentioned therein seeking filing of compliance report by the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Environment, Government of West Bengal by 31.05.2023.
3. Since no report has been filed in compliance thereof, the matter has been placed before this Tribunal by the Registry for further orders.
14. The Registry is directed to issue notice to the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Environment, Government of West Bengal requiring him to file response/compliance report within two months.
5. List on 09.01.2026 for further proceedings/orders.
