This is an application seeking in bail in complaint case No.20/2021 titled „Directorate of enforcement v. Kewal Krishan Kumar & Ors.‟ in ECIR NO. DLZO-1/12/2021, Police Station-Enforcement Directorate, under Sections 3 & 4 of the PMLA.

It is stated by Mr Arora, learned counsel for the petitioner that the applicant is 70 years old and is suffering from various health complications. which are enumerated as herein under:

"A) episodes of seizure and mouth fogging, Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed byAMIT ARORA Signing Date:06.12.2022 16:59:08 B) super morbid obesity, C) Gallbladder stone, C) hernia, D) hyper tension, E) diabetes mellitus, F) osteoarthritis of knee, G) obstructive sleep apnea, H) benign prostatic hyperplasia, I) varicose veins because of which his legs are largely swollen. J) undergone bariatric fusion surgery because of which 80% of his stomach had been removed."

Learned counsel for the petitioner also relies on the judgment of Devki Nandan Garg v. Directorate of Enforcement in BAIL APPLN. 540/2022 in which bail has been granted in somewhat identical circumstances.

Mr Akshat Gupta, learned counsel appears for and on behalf of Mr Zoheb Hossain, learned counsel for the respondent. He seeks and is granted two weeks to file a response/status report.

Nominal Roll be requisitioned indicating previous involvement of the applicant, if any.
