- Every public notice given under this Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder shall be in writing under the signature of the Chairman or any officer of the Municipality authorized in this behalf by the Board of Councilors, and shall be widely made known in the locality to be affected thereby, by affixing copies thereof in conspicuous public places within such locality or by advertisement in local newspapers or by publishing the same otherwise as the Chairman-in-Council may think fit.D.
