The Appellant sought information as under:

Kindly provide yearly cumulative date of last 5 calandar years (2013 to 2017) for number of couples who registered their marriage under Hindu Marriage Act- 1955 in Disrict South Wet Delhi. We will be pleased if you can kindly share the required information according to the following table: Calendar year (January to Number of marriage registered December) 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 Total

2. Please share the phone number and postal address of the First Appellate Authority.

Dissatisfied that no response received from the PIO, the Appellant filed a First Appeal dated 24.10.2018.

The PIO has not provided correct information to the Appellant.

Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:

The following were present: -

Appellant: present on phone Respondent: Sh. Pankaj Roy Gupta, SDM (Dwarka), Sh. Naveen, NT (Kapashera) & Rep. of PIO, Sh. Amit Kale, SDM (Najafgarh) Appellant stated that he has not received complete reply from the PIOs.

PIOs and Rep. of PIO stated that relevant information was provided to the appellant. They further affirmed that they would abide by the orders of the Commissions, if any.

Decision:

Commission has gone through the case records and on the basis of proceedings during hearing directs all the referred PIOs, i.e SDM (Dwarka), SDM (Najafgarh) & SDM (Kapashera) to once again provide the reply to the Appellant, free of cost, via speed/registered post, within 15 days from the date of receipt of this order and accordingly compliance report to this effect be duly sent to the Commission by the PIO. No further action lies.

The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
