Section 54(1) in The Gujarat Housing Board Act, 1961
(1)In making inquiries under sections 36, 38, 46 and 50, the Tribunal shall have and exercise the same powers as are vested in a Civil Court in respect of-(a)a proof of facts by affidavits,(b)summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath,(c)compelling the production of documents, and(d)issuing commissions for the examination of witnesses.
