Section 23(1)(i) in Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Rules, 2002

(i)One month before the onset of the irrigation season, the Project Committee shall, subject to such directions as may be given by Government, from time to time, work out the anticipated inflows and existing water availability in the reservoir and work out the water allocation to all Distributory Committee and the Distributory Committee, in turn, shall allocate the water made available to Water Users Association in its jurisdiction.
