4. Objects of the University.
- The University shall have the following objectives :-(1)develop the University as a National Centre of teaching, training and research in the area of Journalism print, Electronic Media, Mass-Communication and other related subject, branches of studies and other essential and relevant areas of studies;(2)prepare professional manpower to meet out the requirement of the abovesaid areas;(3)develop proper technology for communication in rural and tribal areas through research, training and publication;(4)develop entrepreneurs with specialization;(5)give special attention to the marginalized group of the society specially, Woman, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward classes;(6)make all necessary provisions in order to achieve the abovesaid objectives.
