Section 294(1) in The Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(1)The Commissioner shall make such special arrangements, whether permanent or temporary, as he considers adequate for maintaining sanitation in the vicinity of any temple, math, mosque, tomb or any place of religious worship or instructions to which large number of persons resort on particular occasions or in any place which is used for holding fairs or festivals.
