Section 68B(2) in The U.P. Municipalities Act, 1916
(2)Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder, -(a)the employment or contract of a regular, ad hoc or contractual employee of the Municipality shall become void with effect from the day or hour specified in the order referred to in sub-section (1) if the employee fails to resume duty in response to the said order;(b)where the employment or contract of a regular, ad hoc or contractual employee becomes void under clause (a), the services of such employee shall stand terminated and such employee shall not be entitled to any notice before the termination of his services and no disciplinary enquiry shall be required before such action.
