Section 117(4)(i) in The Petroleum Rules, 2002

(i)An adequate number of portable dry chemical powder or any other fire extinguisher capable of extinguishing oil fires shall always be kept in every storage shed and small Class B or C installations at strategic points and all persons employed at such locations shall be conversant with the use of such fire extinguishers.
