Section 12(v) in Code of Regulations for Matriculation Schools, Tamil Nadu
(v)Age rules should be applied for pupils coming from unrecognised private schools. The Inspector is authorised to give exemption upto a period of six months in deserving cases on the recommendations of Principals in the case of admission in Standard II and above.
