Section 52(2)(a) in The M.P. Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1977

(a)During study leave availed in India a Government servant shall draw leave salary equal to the pay (without allowance other than dearness allowance) that the Government servant drew while on duty immediately before proceeding on such leave.
