1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University Act, 1963.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Telangana] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.9, Agriculture & Cooperation (Agri.III) Department, dated 05.08.2014.].(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Came into force on 4th May, 1964.] as the Government may by notification in the [Telangana Gazette, appoint.] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.9, Agriculture & Cooperation (Agri.III) Department, dated 05.08.2014.]
