( Oral ) Contends that even earlier, the petitioner had approached this Court vide CWP-881-2023, which was dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to move the authorities for redressal of its concerns/grievances. It is urged that, pursuant to the said order, the petitioner moved the Directorate of Public Instructions (Colleges)- respondent No.4, vide representation dated 07.02.2023 (P-29). But even though, a period of over three and a half months has elapsed, the matter has not made any tangible progress.
Upon being served with the advance copy of the petition, Mr. Arjun Sheoran, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, is present in Court. He submits that as respondent No.4 is in seisin of the matter, let this petition be disposed of, at this stage, to enable the authorities to examine the matter and deal with the concerns/grievances raised by the petitioner in its representation (P-29). He submits that appropriate orders, in accordance with law, shall be passed thereon, at the earliest.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is agreeable to the course suggested by the learned State counsel, but submits that respondents be directed to decide the matter within a specified time.
