Section 13(1) in The Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) Rules, 1960
(1)In every ship to which these rules apply efficient drainage by pipers or channels shall be provided for every part of the crew accommodation situated on an open deck wherever such drainage is necessary for clearing water shipped from the sea.
