Section 12(2) in Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971
(2)The appropriate planning authority shall also perform any other function which is supplemental, incidental or consequential to any of the functions specified in sub-section (1) or which may be prescribed. It may further exercise all such powers as may be necessary or expedient for the purposes of carrying out it functions under this Act.
