Section 269(1)(l) in The Bihar Municipal Act, 2007

(l)build, dig, or cause to be built or dug, any grave or vault, or, in any way, dispose of, or suffer or permit to be disposed of, any corpse at any place, which is not permitted under this chapter, without the permission of the Chief Municipal Officer, and (m) exhume without the permission of the Chief Municipal Officer, any body from any place for the disposal of the dead except under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, or any other law for the time being in force.
