Section 27(1) in Tamil Nadu Handloom Worker (Conditions of Employment and Miscellaneous Provisions) Rules, 1982
(1)The employer shall in respect of employees employed, keep an up-to-date register in Form VII ("hereinafter referred to as the "Register of Leave with Wages"):Provided that if the competent authority is of the opinion that any muster roll or register maintained by the employer gives particulars required for the enforcement of the provisions of sections 29 and 30, it may, by order in writing, permit such muster roll or register to be treated as the register required to be maintained under this sub-rule.
