152. Power of Corporation to compound for tax.
- The Corporation may compound, for any period not exceeding one year at a time, with any livery stablekecper or other person keeping vehicles for hire or animals for sale or hire, for a lump sum to be paid by such livery stablekeeper or other person in respect of the vehicle or animal so kept in lieu of taxes for which such livery stablekeeper or other person would otherwise be liable to pay under this Act.
