Section 538 in Rules of the High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan, 1952

538. Notice to creditors.

- The company shall, within seven days after the filing of such affidavit, or such further time as the Judge may allow, send to each creditor whose name is entered in the said list, a notice stating the amount of the proposed reduction of capital, and the amount of debt for which such creditor is entered in the said list, and the time within which, if he claims to be a creditor for a larger amount, he must send in his name and address, and the particulars of his debt or claim, and the address of his Advocate, if any, to the company or its Advocate, if any: and such notice shall be sent by post in a registered cover addressed to each creditor, at his last known address or place of abode, and shall be in the prescribed form:Provided that if any of the creditors of the company are residing out of India, or if the names of any of the creditors are not known to the company, or if for any special reason the Judge thinks it expedient, the Judge may direct notice to be given to any creditor or creditors by advertisement or otherwise, as he may deem fit.
