Section 11(1) in The Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001
(1)No amendment of the bye-laws of a society shall be valid until registered under this Act. For the purpose of registration of an amendment of the bye-laws, a copy of the amendment passed by a majority of not less than two third of the members entitled to vote who are present at a general meeting of the society shall be forwarded to the Registrar [alongwith the prescribed fee] [Inserted by Amendment Act, 2004 (Goa Act 22 of 2004) published in O. G., Sr. I No. 23 dated 3rd September, 2004 inserted in the Act, 2001.].
