18. Appointment of Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents.
(1)The Government may appoint such number of persons as they deem fit having the prescribed qualification to act as Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents of Vaccination who shall be under the administrative control of the Director of Health Services and shall have jurisdiction over such areas as may be specified in the notification of appointment.(2)The Assistant Superintendent shall exercise such powers and perform such functions of the Superintendent of Vaccination as may be delegated by him with the approval of the Director of Health Services.
