Section 376(1)(b) in The Punjab Municipal Act, 1999

(b)the Municipality shall, if so required by the Government, exercise the power conferred upon it by section 366, 373 or 374 or any regulations relating to streets in respect of any encroachment or changing structure on or over such street or any materials, goods or articles of merchandise deposited on such street.
