Section 129(1) in The Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir
(1)The Chairman and other members of the Commission shall be appointed by the [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.] :Provided that as nearly as may be one-half of the members of the Commission shall be persons who at the dates of their respective appointments have held office for at least ten years under the Government.
