(1)This Act may be called the St. Thomas' School Act, 1923.(2)This section and section 2 shall come into force at once, and the remainder of the provisions of this Act shall come into force on such date as the [State Government] [Words 'Provincial Government' substituted for the words 'Local Government' by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937, and thereafter the word 'State' substituted for the word 'Provincial' by Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] may, by notification in the [Official Gazette] [Words substituted for the words 'Calcutta Gazette' by Adaptation of Laws Order, 1937.], direct.Constitution
