(6)If the Syndicate does not, within a reasonable time, take action to the satisfaction of the Pro-Chancellor, the Pro-Chancellor may, after considering any explanation which the Syndicate may furnish, issue such directions in consultation with the Vice-Chancellor as he may think fit.
