Section 6(1)(viii) in The Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology University Act, 2005

(viii)to prescribe qualifications for the courses offered by the University and admit the students as per the guidelines issued by the State Government in this regard for the courses offered by the University, in such manner as may be prescribed by' the regulations;
