Section 24 in The Orissa Grama Panchayats Election Rules, 1965
24. Filling and scrutiny of nomination.
- The Election Officer shall at least [four weeks] [Substituted vide Orissa Gazette Extraordinary No. 903, dated 15.5.2001 SRO No. 228/2001.] before the date fixed for election, issue separate notices in Form No. 3 calling for names of candidates for the office of Sarpanch of each Grama Panchayat and member for each ward of such Grama Panchayat. Such notice shall be published in every ward.
