Section 33(4) in The Maharashtra Management of Irrigation Systems by Farmers Act, 2005
(4)A Chairperson or a Director of the Managing Committee of a Water Users' Association shall be disqualified for election to or continuing in such office if such office bearer absents himself from three consecutive meetings of the Managing Committee without reasonable cause and without prior intimation to the Committee in writing.
