 O R D E R
                        ANTONY DOMINIC, J.

                 W.P.(C) NO. 1788 OF 2010 (W)
                =====================

          Dated this the 4th day of February, 2010

                           J U D G M E N T

Petitioner retired from the service of the 1st respondent on 31/10/2008 as a Coach Builder. His terminal benefits such as commuted value of pension and DCRG are yet to be released. He has filed this writ petition praying for a direction to the 1st respondent to disburse the aforesaid amounts pointing out that he has to clear the liabilities to the 3rd respondent and also to settle the liabilities incurred on account of the marriage of his daughter.

2. Although the case was adjourned to enable respondents 1 and 2 to obtain instructions about the genuineness of the claim raised, nothing has been placed on record to doubt the bonafides of the petitioner.

3. In that view of the matter and also as the amount, the release of which is sought, represents the terminal benefits that are due, I direct the 1st respondent to disburse the amount due to the petitioner towards commuted value of pension and DCRG, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within 4 weeks of WPC 1788/10 :2 : production of a copy of this judgment.

Writ petition is disposed of as above.

ANTONY DOMINIC, JUDGE Rp
