Section 39(1) in Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Act, 1986
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act, the members of the staff other than teachers of the University, shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University with the approval of its Board and the teachers shall be appointed by the Board on the recommendations of such Selection Committees as may be constituted under the Statutes of the University.
