(2B)The approval granted under sub-rule (2), unless suspended or cancelled, shall remain valid for a period not exceeding five years in case of a person holding an air operator certificate issued under rule 134 and engaged in scheduled commuter air transport service or a Non-scheduled Operator's Permit issued under rule 134A and on being satisfied, the Director General may renew the approval for a further period of five years.
