Section 43 in Tamil Nadu Educational Inspection Code
43. A Request to Governor well in advance.
- Whenever there are important functions in district in which the District Officers or Head of Departments feel that the Governor should participate, they should write well in advance to the Governor's Secretary to ascertain and let them know the Governor's intentions and inclinations. He will not ordinarily undertake a tour specially for presiding over a function or opening some institutions unless it is combined with his regular or normal tours.
