(2)The Board may [either suo motu or on an application by an aggrieved person] [Inserted by Act 45 of 1981 w.e.f. 1.10.1981.] call for the records of any proceedings of any officer subordinate to it for the purpose of satisfying itself as to the legality or propriety of any order or proceeding and may pass such order with respect thereto as it thinks fit.
