No.2 HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE KANWALJIT SINGH AHLUWALIA Order 29/01/2019 In the present matter, two persons were named as accused. Complainant has affected compromise with one and intend to pursue the proceedings against another. Partial compromise is against the public policy and therefore, same cannot be accepted. It is a matter of anguish that complainant has become Judge of his own cause. For reasons which may be extraneous, compromise has been arrived with one and qua another, sword has been kept hanging.

Since in the present case partial compromise has been arrived, same cannot be accepted and the present petition is dismissed with liberty to the parties to re-approach this court in (Downloaded on 05/06/2021 at 11:15:17 PM) (2 of 2) [CRLMP-650/2019] case amicable settlement is arrived to promote everlasting peace, amity and harmony, with all the accused named in the FIR.
