Section 10(ii) in Mizoram (Finance and Accounts Service) Rules, 1991
(ii)A person appointed to the service shall join within 45 days from the date of receipt of the order of appointment, failing which and unless the Governor is otherwise pleased to extend the period, the appointment shall be cancelled.
