Section 30(2)(d) in Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Elections) Rules, 1995

(d)The Returning Officer shall, on being satisfied as to the genuineness of the notice of withdrawal and the identity of the person delivering it, cause a notice showing the list of candidates who have withdrawn their candidature in Form 8 to be affixed in the notice board of his office.
