Section 217K(4) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920
(4)Every application to the State Government for the exercise of their power under this section shall be made within two months from the date on which the order, decision or direction made by the State Government including the grant of a licence to which the application relates was communicated to the applicant:Provided that the State Government may entertain an application made after the expiration of the said period of two months, if they are satisfied that the applicant had sufficient cause for not making such application in time.
