Section 2(17) in The North Bengal University Act, 1981
(17)"professional subject" means any of the following subjects, namely, Law, Medicine, [Dentistry,] [Word inserted by W.B. Act 8 of 1993.] Engineering, Teachers Training, Physical Education, Technology, Journalism, Management Studies, Agriculture or such other subject as may be prescribed by Regulations;
