Section 4 in Haryana Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, 2007
4. Objectives (Section 4).
- The scheme shall have the following objectives: -(a)Primary. - The primary objective of the scheme is to provide for the enhancement of livelihood security to the households in rural areas of the notified areas of Haryana by providing round the year employment with minimum guarantee of one hundred days of wage employment in every financial year to every household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work.(b)Secondary. - The secondary objective is the creation of durable community, social and economic assets and infrastructural development in rural areas.
